Hope

This is Hope. We are working with Kodi's Club

with this little Rottie Girl.

As you will read below this Rottweiler has seen some pretty rough days.

But those days are over. She carries the scars inside from her past horrible

abuse but has learned to function overall very well in a control environment.

When Kodi's Club first rescued this girl she was the face of neglect and despair. She was picked up as a stray on the streets of Brooklyn - at a very thin 53 pounds, Her condition is simply pitiful. Yet, despite her painful and obvious history of neglect, she shows love and is gentle, kind and forgiving. Her spirit is admirable. Her eyes were so crusted over and infected that the shelter had reported her as missing an eye. Fortunately, her eyes were infected and eyelashes turned in (entropian) which has been corrected and she is healing nicely. Her age was first estimated at 12, hard to say. She may be closer to 6 - 7  - Kodi's Club is hoping for a rottie lover to come forward for her and give her a home filled with love. She has been spayed, and it up to date in all vaccinations and on heartworm, flea, tick preventative and micro chipped.
