Hoss

Meet Hoss.  He was scheduled to go to a rescue that turned around and did not want him.  (oh yeah! I know what you are thinking.  What kind of rescue would do that??)  He was neutered and vetted and then it was learned he was heartworm positive. Well,  this "unnamed rescue"  basically did not want him as they couldn't care for a heartworm positive dog.   He is mild positive and this is something that is so very easily treatable. So anyways -- that rescue couldn't  care for a HW positive dog and there was no one else that wanted him. So he was scheduled to be euthanized the weekend of June 23rd unless someone stepped up for him.

Kodi's Club ( who I LOVE working with)  helped and stepped up right away to  help this Rottie Boy and he will be here with us at Rott Stop for his care and medical rehabilitation. He began receiving treatment for his leg immediately and will be here with us this coming weekend. More updates to come.

A very special thanks to Karen in helping Hoss as she arranged to have Hoss go to a private boarding kennel while awaiting his transport to us and he is doing very well. They say he is a happy big teddy bear and is quick to lick your hand and honor you with a whole butt wag.
